We welcome you to Vistara a relaxed peaceful haven situated on our seven-acre property adjacent to the Motueka River. Attractions include great river swimming, native birds and bush, a beautiful garden and mountain scenery.

Guests have their own lounge with tea and coffee facilities Enjoy a delicious breakfast of home-made preserves, yoghurt, muesli and fresh organic fruit. Meals are organic, vegetarian and lovingly prepared.

We offer two double rooms – one queen sized (Blue & White Room) and one double (Ethnic room) - and also a bedroom with 2 single beds (Twin Room)
There are 2 separate guest bathrooms.

Directions to Vistara
From Motueka
Turn at the Clocktower Corner (Caltex Service Station).
Drive 20 kms up the Motueka Valley Highway (old SH61) heading south until you reach Vistara at 2035 Motueka Valley.
From the south
Turn off SH6 at the Kohatu Hotel at Motupiko. Vistara is 30kms from this junction on the Motueka Valley Highway (old SH61) heading north at 2035 Motueka Valley.
From Nelson
Take the Moutere (inland) Highway towards Motueka. A short distance from the village of Upper Moutere, turn left at a huge gum tree into Neudorf Rd. Take this road until you reach a T junction and turn right into Dovedale Rd. Continue along Dovedale Rd until you reach another T junction when you again turn right onto the Motueka Highway. Vistara is 4.5km down this highway on the right at 2035 Motueka Valley.
Terms and Conditions
All rates are subject to confirmation at time of booking.
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include full use of facilities including:
Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Linen & towels etc. plus organic breakfast.
Payment
Cash, Visa and bank deposits are accepted payment methods for your stay.
To confirm a reservation a 25% deposit of the total stay or a current credit card number is required as a guarantee. Nothing will be charged to your credit card unless cancellation penalties arise.
Guests staying longer than 7 days are required to pay on a weekly basis.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in from 2pm or earlier by arrangement; check-out 10am or later by arrangement.
Cancellation Policy
Outside 15 days of arrival no extra charges, cancellation within 15 days prior to arrival will be charged with one night accommodation.
Additional Charges
We reserve the right to charge for any damage, breakage or loss that is due to neglect by the guest.
Smoking
Vistara has a "Smoke-free" policy.
Guests are requested to refrain from smoking inside, however, if necessary, they may smoke outside.
