Milford Sound NATURE CRUISES
Explore Milford Sound in a leisurely and casual way with our nature guides. Our vessels, the Milford Mariner and Milford Wanderer designed along the lines of traditional trading scows and have been purpose built to operate in the fiords. These modern vessels offer a relaxing, extended cruise option.

Milford Sound OVERNIGHT CRUISES
When the day visitors depart a silence descends. An overnight cruise amidst spectacular Milford Sound, is a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
Real Journeys offers two overnight cruise options at Milford Sound - one with the MILFORD MARINER and the other with the MILFORD WANDERER
Each cruise offers passengers a relaxing opportunity to explore the magnificent scenery and wildlife of Milford Sound.

MILFORD MARINER
The Milford MARINER has private cabins with ensuite bathrooms (60 passengers)
The Milford Mariner offers you a very special dinner, bed and breakfast experience. On board the Milford Mariner you will cruise the full length of this spectacular fiord to the Tasman Sea before anchoring for the night in sheltered Harrison Cove. You may go exploring in the tender craft and kayaks or simply relax on deck.Spacious viewing decks, dining saloon and observation lounge (vessel layout)

*Two family rooms (4 bunks) available on request

MILFORD WANDERER
The Milford WANDERER has bunk style accommodation (61 passengers)
An overnight cruise on board the Milford Wanderer is very unique adventure. Cruise the full length of the fiord. Keep a lookout for wildlife, especially fur seals basking on the rocks. Before nightfall the Milford Wanderer returns under sail (weather permitting) to Harrison Cove for the night.

*Comfortable bunk style accommodation with four bunks per compartment
*Three course evening meal and breakfast
*20 kayaks and 1 tender craft

All flights weather permitting (If you are unable to fly due to weather conditions, you will return to Queenstown by coach)

Milford Discovery Centre – UNDERWATER OBSERVATORY
Guided visits to the Milford Discovery Centre are available as an “add-on” with most Milford Sound Nature Cruises and Overnight Cruises (bookings essential, extra cost). Due to the delayed return, this option is not available to passengers travelling by Real Journeys coach or plane.
After an informative introductory talk, you will descend to the underwater viewing chamber to observe the fascinating corals, anemones, sponges, sea horses and fish species in their natural habitat.
The price for the visit is:
Adult: $29 / Child: $14.50 (prices valid until 30 September 2010).
Adult: $33 / Child: $18 (prices valid 1 October 2010 until 30 September 2011).
If you choose a visit to the Milford Discovery Centre you will return to the Milford Wharf by water taxi approximately 30 minutes later than the scheduled cruise return.
