Medical Conditions

No cover is available for Pre-existing medical conditions under the Pacific Rim Travel Insurance Policy.
If you do have a pre-existing medical condition, in order to be covered on your trip, we recommend that you apply for a Leisure policy.

A Pre-Existing Medical Condition is classified as:
In the twelve months prior to or following your travel insurance application, have you, had any illness, injury or condition which:

You are aware of
You have taken medication for
You have received treatment, check-ups or medical advice for

If you answer 'Yes' to any of the above questions, you have a Pre-Existing medical condition, and therefore Pacific Rim does not provide you with cover.

NOTE TO ALL TRAVELLERS
Controlled asthma is not classed as a Pre-Existing Medical Condition.

Optional Extras

The Pacific Rim Travel Insurance Policy does not offer any Optional Extras. If you require Specified Item Cover, Deposit Premium Option or Vehicle Rental Excess Cover, we recommend that you consider the Leisure Policy offered by Mike Henry Travel Insurance.
