New Zealand train journeys - Conditions

• Rates include local tax (GST)
• Rates on other point-to-point journeys are available on request
• Child rates (2 to 14 years inclusive) are 50% of adult fare
• Infants (under 2 years) travel free of charge if seated on an adult's knee. A Child rate applies if they require their own seat
• Special service requirements can be negotiated
• Timetables are subject to change

To make a booking please supply full names of all passengers, as well as all children's ages. Please state clearly which Tranz Scenic journey you would like to make a reservation for. Include your intended travel date/time and departure/arrival locations. Please also let us know if you require any special assistance.

We will make a reservation in accordance to your details, and send you our booking confirmation. If all details are correct please confirm and arrange for payment. Full payment due in advance.
Please forward your credit card details (Visa/Master, card no, exp date, holders name) and authorise us to withdraw the due amount. When we have received your payment we will issue a voucher with your booking number. You can collect your tickets and travel information package from the train station on the day of your departure (at least 30 mins before dep).

Usual cancellation policies apply:

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Please note: In case of cancellation: Loss of non refundable deposit after booking/payment has been made/confirmed
- Up to 30 days before start of hire/departure: loss of all deposits
- 30 -10 days before start of hire/departure: 50% of total payment
- From 10 days before start of hire/departure: usually no refund
- No refund for unused, prepaid hire days after start of hire/departure
